How to Delete Your Account

To delete your Prox account, open the app and go to Settings → Account → Account controls → Delete account.

If prompted for a recent login, sign in again and retry the deletion.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

• Your account and profile information
• Your authentication credentials
• Your match history and in-app messages
• Any preferences, settings, and feedback you have given or received

What May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, certain records may be retained after account deletion as required or permitted by law:

• Legal & security records – logs or records we are legally required to keep or that are necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, or other security matters.
• Billing records – transaction history required for tax, accounting, or financial compliance obligations, if applicable.
• Aggregated / anonymised data – data that has been fully anonymised and can no longer identify you.

When Deletion Takes Effect

Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation in the app. Your data may take up to 30 days to be fully purged from all backup systems.
